Our Core Team
Philip White
CEO, Founder and Executive Director
Philip has a vision to create a non-profit organisation in the loving memory of his late sister who sadly passed away from breast cancer. For this reason, he started intensive research about cancer in Ghana to know more about how many women are impacted as well as raising awareness around this public health matter. In that search, he found that with support and education, numerous women can live longer or survive the disease. This led him to create this NGO to educate and empower women at the same time.
Judith Amo Amponsah
Public Health Director & Co Founder
She oversees the entire operations in the organisation. She holds a diploma in Community Health and MS in Public Health. Her passion for the welfare of women and children has greatly impacted the organisation.
Rita Abekah
Co-founder and Patients Advocate
(Registered Midwife)
She holds a degree in nursing and works as a Registered Nurse. She has been working with Ghana health service for over 13 years. She is utilising her expertise in supporting the organisation. Rita has ben representing many patients and also supporting to get the right medication and also referrals. We are proud to have her with us.
Olivia Nkrumah
Rural Outreach and Education Officer
(Registered Midwife)
She is a registered midwife and has worked with Ghana health services for 14 years now. She reaches out to patients who are the most isolated, teaching them about the importance of health care as well as embracing their current breast cancer treatment.
Philomena Yawa Atsu
Events and Volunteer Coordinator
She is a graduate teacher with 10 years of experience teaching Social Studies. She has been helping the NGO to mobilise volunteers across the country. Most of our current events have been successful due to her relentless support. She is a great asset to the organisation.
Maxwell Akoto
Medical Director (Dentist / Registered Nurse)
He is a dentist and a Registered nurse. He has worked with Ghana health services for 16 years. He directs and supervises most of our organisation’s medical outreaches. He has also helped us in soliciting for medical donations and also, he has been attending conferences on behalf of the NGO. He leads and develops the NGO medical outreach plans.

Anita Boateng Nyarko
Operations Manager
Miss Anita Boateng Nyarko sees to
Developing and implementing policies as well as procedures to improve efficiency and guide our operations.
She also manages our
finance budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility and support program delivery. She helps with our annual government’s
Compliance and Risk Management.
Ensuring the organisation adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and audit requirements.
Issahak Mohammed
Donations and Finance Officer (Accountant)
He works as an accountant in a local rural bank. He has been helping the NGO to raise funds and develop donation concepts. He also helps and develops systems to retrieve pledges. He holds HND IN ACCOUNTING AND an Msc in Finance.
Mr. Kwabena Dadzie
Head of Media and IT
He holds a degree in information technology and has been with the NGO since its inception. He works with the volunteer’s department and also, he handles the NGO online presence. He develops and generates our flyers, press release. He is now developing our social media strategy to help propagating the image and vision of the NGO.
Gifty Araba Annan
Head of Training & Medical Volunteer
Our Head of the volunteer medical team oversees the entire volunteering program, from recruitment and training to ongoing support and engagement. She leads the team, ensuring it’s well-managed, compliant with regulations, and provides valuable service to patients and the organization.
She has been championing the volunteer program, ensuring it operates efficiently, effectively, and ethically. She is a great asset to our organisation.
